for everyone

2 Corinthians 3:3 (NLT)
Clearly, you are a letter from Christ showing the result of our ministry among you. This “letter” is written not with pen and ink, but with the Spirit of the living God. It is carved not on tablets of stone, but on human hearts.

I am a letter and Jesus is the envelope. I love this analogy that Pastor Prince used.

Three main functions of an envelope:

  1. Keeping the letter clean.
In Christ, I am kept clean. Whenever I sin, at that very moment, my sin is washed away by His blood because the blood of Jesus keeps on cleansing me. How wonderful! I can have a bold yet relax relationship with my GOD, because every time He looks at me, He sees the envelope (He sees Jesus and all His loveliness covering me). Blessed is Hansel to whom the LORD will never impute sin! Yeah!

  2. Keeping the letter hidden.
In Christ, I am protected from all evil!

  3. Making sure the letter will reach its destination (since the address is written on the envelope).
In other words, I will surely hit the mark. Does it sound familiar? Yes, it certainly does! Hitting the mark --> ARROW! The truth about arrow is connected to this truth about letter and envelope. When GOD released me (an arrow) from His bow, and as I was flying right into my destination, I used to think that I was flying alone. But after listening to the truth about letter and envelope, I realised that even during the journey to my destination, Jesus (the envelope) is with me all the time. And because I am being put in the perfect envelope, I will surely reach my destination, I will surely hit the mark! Woo hoo!

I am standing on Christ. I am in Christ. Christ is in me.

My dear Hansel,
It is possible to fall from God's grace and I hope you realize this truth. Although it is true that a Christian's sins are continually cleansed, this is conditioned upon our continuing to walk in the light. We must strive to live a Christian life to our best abilities and then when we fall short (and all of us will and do), Christ's blood will cleanse us. Also it seems there is another condition of confessing our sins. Please read I John 1:7-10.

7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.8 If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.10 If we say we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

The doctrine of Once Saved, Always Saved is false and from Satan. He wants you to believe it is impossible to fall from Grace in order that your fall will be assured. But the great news is that we are guaranteed a home in Heaven if we stand firm to the end.

I agree with you beloved joejoe1066, and amen. Didn't know that myself until I had to grow up in the Lord :) Do consider also that this is a blog entry and not a full sermon piece, and that beloved Hansel may know that too but did not write it down on this entry. Amen? But thank you for being obedient and typing your response down as you are led by the Spirit :) Praise the Lord.
